Diners Club International – the world, in just one location
A mirror of the sky, breathtaking vistas from atop a hill, and dazzling fireflies that lit up the night.
These were the iconic scenes captured in the Diners Club International’s latest commercial that was aired in October.
And they were all shot in just one location – Malaysia.
The Tankers – a Malaysian film production company – was involved in the recent shoot that featured several strategic locations barely 90 minutes from the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
The locations included:
– The Kuala Selangor Beach, more popularly known as the Sky Mirror. Here, the shallow, still waters reflect the sky, creating unique photography and videography opportunities. It is about an hour’s drive from the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
– Broga Hill is a popular hiking spot. With an elevation of 400m above sea level, a magnificent view is assured to those who make it to the top. It has a relatively easy hiking trail and is also about an hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur.
– The Kuala Selangor Firefly Park is best visited at night, as thousands of fireflies dance like fairies over and around the Selangor river. It provides a unique audio and visual experience, like no other.
The commercial was commissioned by AOI Pro Japan and was completed within two weeks.
